Social Accountability for Citizen-Centric Governance: A Changing Paradigm

On May 12-13, hundreds of social accountability experts from civil society organizations, academia, businesses and governments gathered at the World Bank for the Global Partnership for Social Accountability (GPSA) Global Partners Forum to discuss, debate and reflect on social accountability theory and practice.

Since then, the GPSA has been working to put together the 2015 Global Partners Forum Report which highlights the main themes and lessons that emerged from the plenary panels, workshops, sharing sessions and case studies. We also produced a 2-minute impression video to give you a taste of the some of the events and discussions that took place over the two days. You may also view all the photos from the Forum.

We have also been monitoring the news, and we are pleased to share that the GPSA Award for Leadership in Social Accountability has gotten attention across the world with over 70 articles about the Awardees and the ceremony. Furthermore, we have compiled videos of the Awardee Interviews that we conducted during the Forum.
