She is a Chief Economics Officer of the Ministry of Finance and Group Head, for Public Financial Management Reforms also leads the Social Protection Team at the Ministry of Finance. This year marks her 25 year at the Ministry. She has the responsibility of leading the implementation of the Medium Term Public Financial Management (PFM) Strategy of government which include the passage of a new PFM law and the implementation of a wide range of public financial reforms. Prior to that as head of the Budget Reforms Unit, she was directly responsible for the introduction of Programme Based Budget as the budgeting approach for all government institutions.  She advises the Minister and Management of the Ministry on reforms and improvements in the public financial Management processes and system.
