Every year, the GPSA looks forward to connecting with partners at its annual Global Partners Forum to share social accountability knowledge and insights from practitioners, researchers, funders, and policy makers, and reflect on the state of social accountability practice, explore emerging innovations and lessons, and look to new frontiers.

This year, the Forum will take place from May 10 to 13, 2021. We will delve into important issues for the development community in the present environment, addressing the interlocking themes of the COVID-19 pandemic, socio-economic impacts, health systems, social inclusion, and the role of social accountability.

Because of the pandemic, the Forum will be organized virtually. This new modality will have implications on how the agenda is curated and the program organized, giving a much greater role to our Secretariat than in the past. Session proposals will not therefore be solicited globally as in past Forums.

The sessions will begin at 7:30 and close at or before 11:00 am EDT, in an attempt to ensure the maximum possible participation, despite time zone challenges.

Stay tuned for the Forum Brief and program as well as more information about registration. Meanwhile, if you have any questions or suggestions about the Forum, please contact us at gpsaforum@worldbank.org.
