Such support focuses on initiatives at the country level led by individual CSOs and multi-stakeholder coalitions as well as selective initiatives at the regional and global levels.

With the support of our Global Partners and donors, the GPSA is now supporting over 30 projects in 25 countries.

Projects operate in various sectors, such as health, education, social protection, water, and across issues such as public sector procurement and budget transparency.

For more than 15 years, Fundar has carried out civic engagement, transparency, and social accountability projects, for which it has developed innovative approaches and methodologies. Fundar is part as well of many international and regional networks on such themes.

From November 2013 to August 2018, Fundar designed and managed the Knowledge Platform in close collaboration with the GPSA Secretariat during three different phases, which we aimed to continuously adapt and improve the platform based on lessons learned and members’ feedback.

During that time, together with the GPSA Secretariat, Fundar contributed to turning the GPSA Knowledge Platform into a dynamic knowledge exchange and networking platform with more than 4,500 members, who actively and regularly contribute to its activities, materials, reflections, and news and events. Fundar keeps collaborating on the Knowledge Platform to strengthen social accountability and is part of the GPSA Knowledge Platform Advisory Group.
